Terms of Use

Last updated: 10 September 2026

These Terms of Use explain the conditions that apply when you access Cerood's website, create an account, book a service, communicate with support, or use other services provided through the Cerood platform.

1. About Cerood

Cerood is a home service platform that enables customers to request appliance repair, installation, maintenance and related doorstep services.

Depending on the service and location, Cerood may assign the booking to a suitable service professional to attend the customer's location.

2. Eligibility and Account Information

You are responsible for providing accurate information while registering, booking a service or communicating with Cerood.

  • Your mobile number, name and service address should be accurate.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must not use another person's account without permission.

3. Service Bookings

A booking request submitted through Cerood does not necessarily guarantee immediate technician availability. Service availability may depend on location, appliance category, schedule and technician availability.

Cerood may contact you when additional information is required to process or complete the booking.

4. Inspection and Service Charges

The price shown during booking may represent a service, inspection, installation or predefined service charge, depending on the selected service.

If additional repair work, spare parts or materials are required after inspection, the applicable cost should be communicated to the customer before proceeding.

5. Spare Parts and Additional Work

Appliance problems may require replacement components, consumables or additional work that cannot always be identified before physical inspection.

Customers should review and approve additional charges before such additional work is carried out.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are expected to provide reasonable access to the appliance and service location and disclose relevant information about the appliance problem.

  • Keep the service area reasonably accessible.
  • Provide correct appliance and issue details.
  • Ensure that an authorized adult is available when required during the service visit.
  • Do not request work that is unsafe or unlawful.

7. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Customers may request cancellation or rescheduling subject to the current status of the booking and technician assignment.

Once a technician has travelled to or reached the service location, applicable visit or inspection charges may still apply where such charges were communicated as part of the booking.

8. 30-Day Service Warranty

Eligible repair services may include a 30-day service warranty from the date of service completion.

The warranty generally relates to the same service issue or workmanship associated with the completed service. A fresh defect, unrelated appliance problem, physical damage, misuse, external electrical issue or failure of a separately purchased component may require a new inspection or charge.

Customers should contact Cerood support if they believe an eligible issue has returned during the warranty period.

9. Service Professionals

Cerood may coordinate bookings with service professionals based on service category, location and availability.

Customers should use the official Cerood booking and support channels for booking-related communication, complaints and warranty assistance.

10. Payments and Refunds

Available payment methods may vary by booking. Customers should verify the amount being charged before making payment.

Where a refund is applicable, the amount and processing method may depend on the payment method, booking status, completed work and circumstances of the cancellation or complaint.

11. Reviews and Feedback

Customers may submit ratings, reviews or feedback regarding their service experience.

Reviews should reflect a genuine customer experience and must not contain unlawful, abusive, misleading or intentionally false content.

12. Website and Platform Use

You must not attempt to interfere with the normal operation, security or integrity of Cerood's website, systems, accounts or services.

Automated abuse, fraudulent bookings, unauthorized access attempts and misuse of platform functionality are prohibited.

13. Service Availability

Cerood may add, modify, temporarily suspend or discontinue services in particular locations or categories depending on operational availability.

Estimated arrival or completion times are estimates and may be affected by travel, traffic, technician availability, parts availability or other circumstances.

14. Limitation of Responsibility

Cerood aims to provide a reliable booking and service coordination experience. However, service outcomes can depend on appliance condition, age, previous repairs, spare-part availability and other technical factors.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Indian consumer law.

15. Privacy

Information submitted through Cerood is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

16. Changes to These Terms

Cerood may update these Terms when services, features, policies or legal requirements change.

The updated version will be published on this page together with a revised update date.
